Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a paid Microsoft 365 Copilot license to take this course?
No. Lesson 1 shows you exactly which version you have. Everyone with a work account can use Copilot Chat and Copilot in Outlook, and many lessons apply to home plans too. Some features, such as Copilot in Teams meetings, Researcher, Analyst and work-data grounding, need the paid license, and each lesson says so clearly.
Is this course made by Microsoft?
No. It is an independent course from AI for Business and Life, part of SS Coaching, LLC. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Microsoft. Product facts were checked against Microsoft's own support and Learn pages in October 2026.
Microsoft changes Copilot all the time. Will this go out of date?
Buttons and names change, and we say so where it matters. The core skills, prompting, verification, workflows and data habits, stay useful. The workbook shows you how to check Microsoft's release notes so you can keep up.
I'm on a Mac. Will this work for me?
Mostly yes. Copilot is available in Microsoft 365 apps on Mac, though some features arrive on Windows or the web first. Where Microsoft documents different steps for Mac, the lesson notes them.
Does this course promise time savings?
No course can promise results. Your outcome depends on your license, your files and how consistently you practice. The course gives you an honest way to measure your own before-and-after time on real tasks.
Is it safe to use Copilot with company data?
Microsoft states that prompts, responses and work data accessed through Microsoft Graph are not used to train its foundation models, and Copilot respects existing permissions. Safety still depends on your organization's permissions and your habits, which Module 5 covers in detail. Always follow your company's policy.
Who is this course not for?
It is not an IT administrator certification or a technical deployment guide, and it does not cover building Copilot Studio agents in depth or programming. If you have no access to Microsoft 365 at all, start with a general AI course instead. If you use Microsoft 365 at work or at home and want practical results, it is for you.
How much time do I need?
About 6 hours in total. Each lesson takes 12 to 15 minutes plus a short action step on your own work, so one lesson a day finishes the course in under a month. Your first real result comes in Lesson 1, in about 10 minutes.
